Clay Press Blob
A blob of satin modelling clay sits on a seamless paper sweep tinted with its own colour, like a tonal product shot: terracotta on peach paper, cobalt on pale blue. It is lit from the upper left, with a soft sheen that rides the shape, a darker rim toward the lower right, a fine grain, and contact shadows in the paper's deep tone. It is a soft body that keeps what you do to it for a while: a press sinks a dent with a fingerprint in it (pressed near the edge, it notches the rim), a drag pulls out a lump, a flick throws it against the side of the stage where it squashes into a rounded slab and wobbles back, and a pinch squeezes it. A tap recolours the clay, the new colour spreading from the finger while the paper and the ink turn with it. "Clay Study" and "Nº 04" sit above the clay's name in a large bold serif, and "Press · Pull · Flick · Pinch · Tap to recolour" below.
