Continuous Zoom Grid
A photo library on a white screen that zooms continuously, like a pinch, from three large square photos per row to a contact sheet of twenty per row and back. Its 3,000 photos are drawn in code from their index (sun over the sea, hills in haze, city lights out of focus, dunes, pines in mist, petals close up, a building in low sun, a beach, in eight palettes, in runs like days out), so the grid needs no images. While zoomed out each month's first photo carries a white chip with its month, at full size videos show their length, and the grid dissolves into white under a header (a round back button, "Library" over the month in view, a Select pill) and above a floating glass control (Years, Months, All Photos) whose highlight follows the zoom.
