Dot Matrix Camera Pad
A manual camera screen whose controls feel like hardware, on black. A viewfinder with white corner brackets fills the top 62% and shows a night street drawn in code (city blocks with lit windows, three street lamps with bokeh and wet reflections, cars passing both ways) that answers every setting, with lens chips 13, 24 and 77 MM at its foot. Below it, two control modules with mono readouts: a rubbery drum wheel for exposure beside an A/M switch with an orange knob, and the same for warmth. Switching the first to M opens the wheel into a glowing 11 × 8 dot-matrix pad of shutter speeds (1/4 to 1/4000, across) by ISO (100 to 12800, up). A glossy orange-red shutter in a white ring, a gallery thumbnail and a round chevron button sit at the bottom. Exposure and ISO brighten or darken the street, slow shutters stretch the cars' lights into long trails, high ISO adds grain and warmth tints it.
