Friend Radar Map
The 'friends nearby' screen of an invented ride app, in a bitmap rave look: a black street map, a friend's portrait in a trapezoid frame glowing acid green where they are, smaller portrait pins for the others, a huge pixel-font name with a white glow, two lines of mono caps (where they are, how much sooner you would meet) and a dark Order button with a magenta knob. Swipe the name sideways or tap a pin: the map's camera glides to the next friend, pulling back a little on the way, the old frame shrinks into its pin and the new pin grows into the glowing trapezoid, leaning its own way, while the name scrambles out and the next decodes letter by letter through random pixel glyphs. Hold Order and it fills magenta until the ride is on its way.
