Jigsaw Steps Welcome
Onboarding for a family-photo app, "Piecemeal": a sunset beach photo of a mother and child is cut into twelve jigsaw pieces with classic knobs, scattered under a recessed board with their cardboard edges and soft shadows. Each onboarding step snaps four pieces home — corners, then the outer middles, then the middle row — each lifting, arcing over, untwisting and landing with a small squash and a light running round its edges; then the cut lines fade and the photo comes alive with a slow push-in and a warm gleam. Step dots and the copy above the Continue button roll with each step, and any piece can be dragged into place by hand.
