Pinch Density Grid
A herbarium of thirty-six botanical plates (leaves, bouquets and tulips) on warm paper whose column count follows a pinch: spreading the fingers walks the grid from five columns to three, two and one, and pinching walks it back, every plate sliding and growing between the two neighbouring grids around the fingers instead of jumping, the plate under the fingers staying under them. The dense grid is laid nearly edge to edge with square-ish corners; as it opens up the gaps, margins and corner radii grow, and at two columns and one each plate gets its name, its species and a small "No. 07" underneath. A medium-weight "Herbarium" title sits at the top with "36 plates · Pinch", and at the right a small ladder of the column counts, 5 3 2 1, with a dark pill sliding between them as the grid changes.
