Polaroid Develop Welcome
A welcome screen for an invented road-trip journal, set on a dark walnut table under a warm lamp. A drawn cream instant camera sits at the top with a big lens in a ringed barrel, a ribbed flash, a viewfinder and a terracotta shutter button; below it the headline "Every mile, one frame.", one sub line, a cream "Start your roadbook" button and an "I already have an account" link. The screen opens with the camera taking a photo: the flash fires and a print slides out of the slot and, without stopping, settles onto the table with a tilt, then develops from a dark brown blank through a pale, washed-out ghost to full colour while a blue handwritten caption writes itself on its border. Tapping the shutter takes another, which lands on top of a messy pile; holding and shaking the top print develops it faster, and throwing it aside sends it under the pile.
