Truchet Wave Tiles
A full-screen grid of Truchet tiles, eight across, forming continuous flowing lines in two colours: thick glazed ribbons of quarter-circle arcs in bone on deep ink. Tiles turn a quarter at a time, lifting off the grid as slabs with a soft shadow, in waves that ring out from a tap or follow the finger as it drags, so the line pattern keeps re-forming. A glass segmented control at the bottom morphs every tile between Arcs, Diagonals (a maze of straight lines) and Triangles (half-square tiles filled in), and a round swatch beside it grows the next palette (kiln orange, moss and ochre, cobalt on ivory) out across the screen as a circle. A fine print grain lies over everything.
