Cassette Deck
A cassette deck that is the whole screen: a brushed aluminium faceplate with its name engraved, a recessed well behind a smoked acrylic door holding a mixtape (charcoal shell with screws, a cream paper label written by hand, "Glass Hours, for Jun, summer mix"), a mechanical tape counter with a memory lamp, two LED level meters, and a row of five aluminium piano keys. Press play: the key goes down and latches, the motor brings the tape up to speed and it winds from the left reel's pack to the right one, the counter's wheels roll and the meters move with the music. Fast forward winds it on at speed; rewind winds it back and the counter's memory stops it at 000 by itself. Stop and pause act and spring back up.
