Receipt Printer
A year of runs as a grid of tiles under three figures for the year (91.4 km, 12 runs, 5'29"/km), each tile with the run's route traced in ink, its weekday and date and its distance. Long-press a run and pick Long receipt (or just tap it): the tile flies up and flattens into a black printer slot, and a long slip of thermal paper is fed out of it in jerks, the newest lines still pale. The receipt holds the run on warm thermal paper with its grain: logo, run number, date and route ("RIVERSIDE LOOP – TEMPO"), a table of five steady kilometres and the finishing kick with pace, zone, time and heart rate, the pace traced every 100 m against its average, TOTAL 6.21 KM, duration, average pace, best kilometre and heart rate, *** DUPLICATE COPY *** and a torn foot. Drag the paper itself to read it; at its end Save, Tear off and Signature come up. Tear off, or pulling the paper down past its top, draws it back into the slot and the grid returns.
