Crayon Rubbing Card
A museum app, "Rubbings — Hall C, plaque 14": a sheet of thin paper lies over a cast-bronze plaque, betraying its hidden relief only as a faint emboss. Scrub the paper with the wax crayon and the relief comes up exactly as frottage does, on the raised parts only: a heron among reeds before a low sun, rippled water, a border with rosettes and the inscription "The river keeps its own time", grainy along each stroke and broken by the paper's tooth. The revealed percentage counts up, a gold "Collected" badge pops in, three wax colours can be chosen, and the sheet peels away to a fresh one.
