Deli Grain Tabs
An invented Italian deli's category screen on cream: two rows of six small food silhouettes as tabs (balsamico bottle, snifter, pizza slice, cup, oil jug, jar, farfalle, cheese wedge, salami, gift, olive, loaf) and one large ink silhouette in the middle with the category's name and product count. When the tab changes, the big silhouette crumbles into 1,400 flour grains that drain out of it from the bottom, swirl round, and rain into the next shape bottom-first, while the tab turns ink with a small pop and the indicator dot slides along the strip. Tap a tab to sift to it, or drag across the big shape to stir the grains, which flow around the finger and settle back. Every silhouette is drawn in code.
