Offline for the flight, at night: a flight card on top (UA 1514, SFO to JFK, 9:05 AM to 5:30 PM, the route between the two airports) and a podcast's new episodes as the flight's timeline. Hold an episode and drag: every episode you pass takes its place on the timeline with the time you would start it and a rail segment (orange and violet alternate so neighbours read apart), while the route on the card fills toward JFK and two figures say what is planned and what is still to fill. Tap to add or leave out one episode. Past the flight's length a green "Lands JFK 5:30 PM" marker drops into the timeline. Download, and the plane flies the route as the episodes land, each ring turning into a check as it passes; a dot-matrix boarding pass then rises with what is on the phone. VoiceOver users start planning or toggle an episode with a double tap.
