Foil Monogram Splash
A splash for an invented bakery, Loaven, on a warm espresso screen. Its mark, a knot of two long gold-foil loops crossed like a braided loaf, draws itself on stroke by stroke and weaves over and under at its four crossings, while the name rises letter by letter out of its own baseline in bold serif capitals with a line of small tracked type beneath. A band of light sweeps across the foil, and a finger dragged over the splash moves that light. Then the letters drop away, the knot flies up into the corner of the app's header and an arched doorway opens from the middle onto the app: today's bake, a large photo of country sourdough, two loaves from the shelf and a dark Reserve for pickup button. Tapping the knot in the header plays the splash again.
