Fractal Tree Bloom
A fractal tree on a small green mound under a soft pink sky with pale hills behind it, "Seed No. 27" and the season's name in the top corner. From a glossy seed the tree grows branch by branch, trunk first and twigs last, then opens into pink and white blossoms that sway in a light breeze. Each tap turns the season: summer greens the crown with leaves under a blue sky, autumn turns them gold, orange and crimson and lets them drift down, and winter leaves the branches bare against a slate sky, with snow falling, settling along the tops of the boughs and whitening the ground. Dragging across bends the wind, the trunk first and the twigs after; holding a finger down draws the tree back into its seed and grows the same tree again.
