Make room for deep work: Thursday's plan at night in Liquid Glass. A dark page with one warm horizon light low on it, faint hour lines and a dotted rail; every surface above it is glass that refracts the frosted page (bent inward over the last 12 pt of its rim, red and blue a hair apart), lit by a crisp rim highlight from above and a fainter one below. A floating glass bar: "3h 15m open until 18:00" and a glass "+". Hold a block: the glass lights from under the finger, then thickens (its rim bends more), lifts with a deeper shadow and shows a grip on the nearer edge. Drag the edge: it clicks from quarter hour to quarter hour, an amber pill takes the place of the hour labels and reads the time, the added time fills the block with warm light and "+1 h" sits beside the grip, the focus total and the open time roll. Grow into the next task and it is shoved later as one rigid chain, each pushed task showing its old time struck through beside the new one. The chain stops hard against "Lunch with Maya": push on and the tasks squash, the meeting's glass dims, gives by a point and shows a lock. Drag back and the tasks spring home to their own times one after another, the block showing what it lost ("−1 h"). A start edge moves only into free time. VoiceOver can move a block's end by a quarter hour.
