Mood Orb Jar
A mood journal on warm paper: a clear soda-lime glass jar with a knurled steel lid holds the month's moods as glass beads in a calm range (dusk, rain, sand, sage, apricot), stacked by physics, with the month and its count printed on the glass. Flick a bead up from the five-mood picker: it passes in front of the jar, the lid lifts, it drops through the mouth and lands on the pile with a knock that rocks the jar; a copy flies to the list and the day's entry grows out of it. Swipe that entry to undo and the bead rises out of the jar back to the picker. Every picker bead is also a button.
