Pinch to Summarize
A long-form review in an invented reading app, with a masthead, a dark header panel, a serif headline and a duotone photo. Pinch the article and the summary is visibly made from it: while the fingers close, the rest of the page washes out and four key sentences get a lavender highlighter sweep, locking in one by one with a tick; a small label under the page shows how deep the summary will be (Key points, Brief or TL;DR, deeper pinch, shorter summary). Let go and the page waits, still readable, while the picked sentences pulse in turn (“Summarizing for you…” if it takes a moment). Then each sentence lifts off the page as a chip and flies on a curved path into the summary line it became, while the page settles into a small card at the top of a drifting blue-to-pink gradient. The summary is a lead, entity chips (tap one to light its words) and icon-led points with source marks; the price rolls in and the review meter fills to 4 of 5. The card shows how far you had read, and the footer reads “You read 50% · 14 min → 40 s” with rolling numbers. Tap a point to see its sentence in the article, flashed; pinch out, tap the card or the close button and the chips fly home. Long-press the summary to lift it as a card with Copy summary and Share. The article keeps an opaque band under the status bar, so nothing scrolls over the clock.
