Orbit Photo Ring
A retro camera hangs in the dark, drawn in true perspective: a body in pebbled leather between chrome plates, a prism hump with knobs on top and a deep ribbed lens with tinted glass. Ten polaroid prints (white cards with a slightly tall photo, a pencil caption and a small ring mark) orbit it, the ones behind the camera smaller, darker and blurred. A switcher at the top offers three ring styles that morph into each other: Ring, a wide tilted halo around the camera at rest; Tumble, where the camera becomes a soft, glossy toy-like body ray-marched in 3D (a lacquered shell with a carry hump and two dark knobs over a satin body with a pale base, a deep knurled lens holding a matte white sphere, an accent dot and a small tab) that turns round together with a wide ring of polaroids, the front of both travelling left to right; the ring hangs low and is rolled so its left side sits lower than its right, its front prints sweeping across the lens and its back ones passing small under the body, every print leaning with it; and Gyro, two crossed rings of five spinning against each other. Under the scene sit the model's name and a line of specs, and at the bottom a bar of camera thumbnails that scrolls freely, the chosen one in colour: scrolling only browses, tapping a thumbnail chooses it. Dragging sideways spins the prints and turns the camera with them; choosing another camera spins the body as it morphs into the new model while the prints fly off and new ones are shot out of the lens.
