Rope Tab Bar
An outdoor app, "Basecamp", whose tab bar (Explore, Routes, Gear, Profile) has a climbing rope tied across its top between two steel eyelets, and the active tab is a barrel knot on that rope. Change tab and the knot slides along: the rope sags under its weight, lifts where it left, whips and rings down, and the icons it passes are tugged down a few points. The pages (a sunrise lake card and nearby trails, a topographic route map, a pack-weight breakdown, a hiker's profile) cross-slide with their artwork lagging in parallax, and the large title cross-fades as it slides. Tap a tab, or drag the knot along the rope.
