Wind Scatter Letters
The hero of an autumn weather edition: "Let it drift" set huge in a bold italic serif over a dusk sky and two ridges, with leaves lying on the near ridge. A gust blows the letters away like leaves: they lift off one by one from the left, tumble and drift in eddies, some coming forward and some falling back and softening, while more leaves blow across, then they spiral home and settle on springs. Swiping across the screen is a gust in that direction and at that speed; letters and leaves near the finger scatter most. Below sit the forecast line, three wind readings, an hourly gust strip and "Read the forecast".
