Elevator Floor Nav
"Merrow & Hale", a department store whose sections are the floors of its lift: an enamel floor dial with a needle above a brass-framed doorway, the current floor's section (Shoes, Fashion, Beauty, Home, Café) showing through it, and a brass panel of five glass buttons below. Tap a floor and its button lights amber, the brushed-steel doors close, the car rides while the store slides past the doors' vision panels and the needle sweeps, the bell lantern glows and the doors open on the new section as the header rolls to its name.
